Event Description
This session recounted the compelling story of voluntary donor coordination in the form of a community of purpose spanning 5 countries and 9 donor agencies; the challenges and triumphs of virtual collaboration for knowledge and learning; and how fostering connections between international development donors led to the co-creation of a shared theory of change for the contribution of effective KM and organizational learning for development impact. Panelists also discussed the newly released book, “Return on Knowledge”, which combines case studies with a systematic look at the MDLP’s shared theory of change. This panel session combines the experiences and reflections of members and facilitators of the group and showcases the results of the collaboration between them and provided space for Q&A from session attendees.

About the The Multi-Donor Learning Partnership for Development Impact (MDLP)
The MDLP is an international community of knowledge and learning partners, formed in 2018. Its members are comprised of Knowledge Management (KM) and Organizational Learning (OL) leads from nine international development funders including USAID, UNICEF, GIZ, FCDO, Sida, the World Bank, the InterAmerican Development Bank, IFAD, and the Wellcome Trust.
